Dr. Pawan Kumar Poddar is a Hyderabad-based Interventional Cardiologist, who has been in practice since 2010. He can be consulted at Yashoda Hospital (Malakpet), and Woodlands Hospital (Barkatpura). He can also be consulted privately at Bhagwati Clinic (Charkaman). 

Dr. Poddar is proud of his impeccable academic record. After completing his MBBS, he obtained an MD postgraduate degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and a DM superspeciality degree from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.

Dr. Poddar's areas of expertise include Radial Angioplasty, Renal and Peripheral Angioplasty, Mitral and Pulmonary Valvotomies and Pacemaker Implantations (including ICDs and CRTs). He is an astute clinician and is passionately involved at all levels of patient management. He averages over 700 right and left heart catheterisations and over 250 coronary interventions every year.

Dr. Poddar has had many of his co-authored papers published in peer-reviewed journals, besides having contributed various articles, textbook chapters and reviews. He was awarded the prestigious FACC degree at Washington DC in 2014. He has also been a recipient of the Chikitsha Ratna and the Bhagwan Dhanvantir Sadbhavna Puruskar awards.
